Mark Sgarzi
This crew of artists hail from NorCal, and they’re filling Site 5 with their antics. Drop by during the daylight hours and check them out. Look for a “No Sweat Lodge” by Adrian Meier-Dentzel, where you can relax out of the hi-desert sun. Danielle Rubi is keeping her photographs hydrated by showing them in bottles. Linn Edwards is making a mirage of an oasis out of mirrored squares. Simone and Nate, aka Team Essen, are making some sort of unspecified mischief in the sand which may have to do with a large animal. Mark Sgarzi is providing shelter for flora and fauna. Josh Beckman is reconstruing the desert as the ocean floor. Joseph Heidebrecht is making a sign. Scott Melcher is presenting a picture of himself constructed of welded metal scraps.
